Welcome to Wellbeing is a dietetic private practice with locations in Hornsby, North Sydney and Sydney CBD. Our experienced and caring dietitians support individuals with various medical conditions, disordered eating, eating disorders and body image concerns.

We are looking to expand our Practice and are inviting highly motivated and driven Dietitians with a passion for private practice and eating disorder work to join our team.

About the Role

Job Title: Dietitian (Independent Contractor Position)

This position would suit a highly motivated and driven Dietitian with a passion for working with disordered eating/eating disorder clients within a private practice setting.

There is an opportunity for the suitable candidate to thrive in providing weight neutral care within an environment that promotes respect and loving care for all bodies. The Dietitian will be provided the opportunity to grow and maintain their client case load with high earning potential. 


The Dietitian will provide high quality evidenced-based dietetic services within a weight neutral framework to individuals with various medical conditions, disordered eating, eating disorders and body image concerns.


The position has a strong focus on providing client centred care including establishing and maintaining an effective therapeutic relationship with the client and frequently corresponding with other health providers involved in the client’s care.


Contractor Duties

  • Conducting individual consultations with Welcome to Wellbeing clients

  • Writing and issuing initial/progress/discharge reports to Health Providers

  • Conducting case conferences, marketing and educational activities with Health Providers in person and via phone (as required)

  • Processing payments and invoicing

  • Maintaining client files (entering information and uploading documents)

  • Maintaining effective appointment diary management and client scheduling procedures including booking/re-scheduling, client recalls and wait list

  • Maintaining current list of client case load including KPIs

Selection Criteria 

  • Accredited Practising Dietitian and current member of DAA

  • ABN, professional indemnity insurance and WWCC

  • Interest/experience in working within weight neutral framework and/or eating disorders within a private practice setting

  • Ability to thrive working in both independent and team environments
