We are looking for a highly motivated dietitian with a passion for and experience in the treatment of eating disorders to join our team. Should you be successful in your application, your role will involve providing dietetic assessment and treatment to individuals presenting with weight, eating, feeding and body image concerns.


This position is ideally suited for a dietitian with a desire to work in private practice (minimum 2 days/week) as an independent contractor to consult within conveniently located practices in Hornsby and North Sydney.

Contractor responsibilities

  • Conducting consultations with clients

  • Writing and issuing initial, progress and discharge reports to health providers

  • Conducting case conferences and liaising with health providers and other stakeholders

  • Undertaking self-promotion and marketing activities  

  • Processing payments and invoicing

  • Maintaining client files

  • Maintaining effective appointment diary management


Your Application

Your application should include an Introductory Letter addressing the essential criteria and indicating available working hours as well as your Resume.


Essential Criteria 

  • Accredited Practising Dietitian and current member of DAA

  • ABN, professional indemnity insurance and WWCC

  • Experience in working with eating disorders

  • Understanding of the Health at Every Size and Non-Diet Approaches and ability to practice within these frameworks
