Accredited Practising Dietitian

Kimberlee Smee (née Irvine) APD, AN, BND

Kimberlee is deeply interested in the psychology behind the behaviour of eating. Previous to her career as a dietitian, she completed a degree in psychological science and worked in the field as a behavioural therapist, but made the career change to dietetics when her interests moved towards the role of nutrition in health and how intricately involved food, eating and mental health can become.

Kimberlee believes that every person deserves the opportunity to be healthy and is passionate about helping clients to work through their underlying issues with food and eating so that they are free to live happier, healthier lives, liberated from restrictive diet rules and negative self beliefs.

Kimberlee works with the evidence based Non-Diet Approach to guide clients through learning to trust their bodies, normalise eating behaviours, and find enjoyable movement. She works with clients to find the best possible solutions for their individual situation, to achieve their individual health goals and to find peace with food, eating and their bodies.

Kimberlee is a professional member of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA).
