Jacqui is an Associate Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and member of Dietitians Australia. Jacqui provides an evidence-based, client-centred, weight-inclusive approach to her practice, providing nutritonal counselling and medical nutrition therapy from a weight-neutral and non-diet framework under the Health At Every Size (HAES) paradigm.

 

Expect to be met where you are at. Jacqui will take time to learn from you about you, to provide support and education in a way that suits you and your capability. Jacqui provides a judgement free, empowering space, with tools and strategies to improve and explore your relatonship with food and health.

 

Professional interests include weight concern, disordered eating, eating disorders, metabolic conditons such as diabetes and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and gastrointestinal issues. From her own lived experience with IBS and finding relief Jacqui is able to provide practical advice and space for exploraton. She has gone on to do further training in PCOS, eating disorders and gastrointestinal issues and engages in on-going professional development and supervision.

 

Jacqui will come alongside you to support you to increase health enhancing behaviours without focusing on the scale. Jacqui's mission is to see everyone have the opportunity to experience freedom around food and to celebrate their bodies rather then fighting it. Outside of work Jacqui is a trail runner, hiker and camper enjoying 4WDing, painting, Netflix and recycling always with two coffees to start her day (or three depending on the day)
